INVITATION TO APPLY FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES OFFERED AT EASTERN AFRICA STATISTICAL TRAINING CENTRE (EASTC) FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018
The Rector of the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre (EASTC) located in Dar-Es-Salaam invites all interested applicants in the field of Official Statistics to apply for admission into programmes offered at EASTC for 2017/2018 Academic year.
Application is open for the following programmes

2 YEAR OPTION (NTA LEVEL 5)
Applicants with the entry Requirement Specified Below Qualify for Admission into NTA Level 5
Minimum entry requirements for NTA level 5
A relevant NTA 4 (Basic Technician Certificate) or its equivalent established by NACTE based on Tanzania’s education system.
An Advanced Level secondary certificates with a principal pass in mathematics or subsidiary in Basic Applied Mathematics and a pass in English at Ordinary level secondary certificates or its equivalents established by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
An NVA level III certificate with Pass classification
3 YEAR OPTION (NTA LEVEL 4)
Applicants with the entry Requirement Specified Below Qualify for Admission into NTA Level 4
Minimum entry requirements
An Ordinary Level Secondary Certificate with at least four passes including English and Mathematics or science, or its equivalent established by NACTE based on Tanzania Education system.

Applicants are invited to apply online through the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre website www.eastc.ac.tz.
Please note that EASTC is the only institution that offers training in all fields of Official Statisticians in Anglophone Africa at Bachelor, Masters, and PhD levels. Graduates from the Centre have the opportunity to be employed in National Statistical System (NSS) offices (NSOs, MDAs, Ministries) in various countries and international organizations.
