Executive Master Degree in Official Statistics programme intends to produce professional official statisticians who are able to apply statistical skills and knowledge in a broad range of complex managerial and statistical activities related to Official Statistics in the context of development policies and practices, as well as developing a high degree of personal and social responsibility.
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, M&E Specialist / Advisor, Data Analyst / Statistician, Research Analyst, Program Evaluator, Impact Evaluation Specialist, Public Health M&E Specialist, Project Manager / Program Manager, Policy Analyst, MIS (Management Information Systems) officer, Consultant in M&E or Statistics, Data Quality Assurance Officer, Planning Officer, Policy Monitoring Officer.
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & evaluation, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Agriculture, Education (Science), Environmental studies, Engineering, Science and Technology programmes, Health and allied sciences, ICT, Computer Science, Development Planning, Community Development, Project Planning, Local Government, Administration, Regional Development, or related areas, with a GPA of at least 2.7 or a credit/distinction for unclassified degrees. Foreign qualifications require equivalence certification from the relevant authority. Candidates with pass degrees and at least a B grade may also qualify if they have a minimum of three years of relevant field/research experience or additional professional training of at least three months. Non-degree holders with Advanced or Postgraduate Diplomas may be considered if they obtained Upper Second/Distinction awards from TCU-recognized institutions.
